Jacquelyn Khanich, Esq.

Attorney At Law

Jacquelyn Khanich, Esq. is a sharp, enthusiastic, and determined attorney with 14 years of litigation experience. She is licensed to practice in Texas, California, New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. A compassionate trial lawyer, her core mission is fighting for victims of personal injury. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation as a zealous advocate, blending a robust domestic legal background with significant international experience.

Though Ms. Khanich began her legal career in entertainment law—representing celebrities, filmmakers, athletes, reality television networks, and talent management companies—she soon discovered her true calling when she began assisting these clients with their personal injury and family law matters. This transition ignited a deep passion for helping those who have been wrongfully injured, solidifying her love for the courtroom and setting her on a dedicated path in personal injury litigation.

For Ms. Khanich, personal injury law is not just a career; it is a calling. She takes great pride in treating every client like her own family, guiding them through some of the most traumatic and stressful times in their lives with deep empathy and fierce protection.

Before joining Edward Law Group, she ran her own successful law practice focusing on Personal Injury and Family law. Prior to that, she honed her skills as a Senior Trial Lawyer at several of Texas’s most prominent personal injury firms, gaining invaluable experience in this demanding but rewarding field. Driven by a commitment to continuous learning, she frequently attends industry seminars to stay at the forefront of personal injury strategy and litigation. Her leadership experience also includes serving as the Managing Attorney and Head of Legal Operations for a national law firm, where she leveraged advanced legal technology to help grow one of the largest firms in the country.

Academically, Ms. Khanich’s background is as diverse as her practice. Ms. Khanich attended the University of Texas at Austin, Suffolk University in Madrid, and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minoring in Acting and Film. After living and working in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, she attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, earning her Juris Doctor in 2012. During law school, she worked on high-profile litigation as a summer associate at Baker Marquart, LLP, competed in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, and received the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, earning the top grade in her class. Furthering her expertise, she later earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Comparative & International Dispute Resolution and Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London, and spent several years as a consultant attorney for W Legal in London assisting with complex international disputes and arbitrations.

After living and working all over the world, Ms. Khanich returned to her hometown of Houston in 2020, where she feels most deeply connected to her roots. She views her personal injury practice not just as a profession, but as a profound duty to protect her community from reckless drivers, negligent corporations, and aggressive insurance companies. Having traveled to over 95 countries, she possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and easily connects with people from all cultural backgrounds, aided by her intermediate proficiency in Spanish and Arabic.

Outside the courtroom, Ms. Khanich is just as dynamic. She loves spending time with her seven-year-old son, Thor, and is a passionate cook—a talent evidenced by her championship win on the popular Food Network show Chopped. She lives by the motto: "Live life to the fullest, and never let anyone destroy your dreams, goals, and ambitions." Ms. Khanich encourages her clients to adopt this same mindset so they can live up to their own potential. As a relentless fighter who refuses to back down, she advocates zealously for the vulnerable and injured, ensuring their voices are finally heard and their rights are fiercely protected in and out of the courtroom.
