Carson Joachim (pronounced Yokum) is a Houston native and began his legal career at The Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained valuable legal experience in both felony and misdemeanor cases during his three (3) year stay. On Conferring The Harris County Attorney’s Office, Carson joined the notable firm Nichols Law P.L.L.C., where he focused his legal practice on family law issues, with additional experience in divorce, custody, and guardianship proceedings. About conferring Nichols Law P.L.L.C. To expand his legal experience and range of knowledge, Carson represented police officers from the Houston Police Department as legal advisor to the Houston Police Patrol Union, The Fraternal Police Order 109. While at SPPH, Carson dealt with all forms of administrative hearings. and disciplinary appeals (including Loudermill Hearings, arbitration, etc.) and shootings involving officers.


Carson later became general counsel for the Harris County Deputies Organization (HCDO), where he dealt with civil administrative matters, IAD investigations, complaints, and criminal matters for HCDO members. Additionally as a lawyer for HCDO, Carson advised the executive board on legal matters affecting the union, he also assisted members in critical incidents, such as- Deputy involved in shootings and deaths in custody. Carson was an Internal General Counsel for more than ten (10) years. Today, he still manages Deputies and Sheriffs cases as a private attorney.
In his private practice, Carson focuses on criminal and family cases. From the valuable experience gained as a prosecutor, Carson has dedicated his private practice to judicial work, giving his clients the ability to fight their case in court. Being a criminologist or family matter, Carson promises his clients the best personal service. He recognizes that the issue his clients deal with is the most important issue in his life. If you have a matter involving felonies, misdemeanors, or juvenile law, you will receive a fair and honest evaluation of your case and a fervent and aggressive advocate for your case. On a personal note, Carson is a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School where he played football, baseball, basketball, and ran the track. He accepted a scholarship from Eastern New Mexico University where he played four (4) years as a wide receiver. And he attended the Baylor School of Law. He is the father of two (2) beautiful daughters and husband to Amber, who is a prosecutor.
